I was looking for something that would allow me
to show users who’s visiting the site, as well as where they’re
coming from. Your Visitors Online (VOL) script really works well
because it allows you to view the country both by using a flag image
and spelling it out. To add credibility it shows the first two octets
of their IP also.
This is a great addition to any site. It certainly adds to the e-places
website I can tell you that for sure.
As far as installation it’s a matter of dropping the files
in and a single include line in PHP. Done. You can edit it to make
it match your site or change it up, but it’s really nice as
is. I’d say installation is less than 4 minutes and most of
that would include upload from a dialup connection.
I’m very happy and intend on using these guys again. I’m
constantly adding and removing code from various websites since
I’m an ISP and provide web space.
